Nearing 50 and reflecting on her musical journey that began when she started producing music at 42 without any prior musical background, she feels ready to manifest her true musical identity. This evolution has led to her rebirth as Ëmbyrblume - a name that symbolizes a new start and triumph for KATIE SE7EN.
In 2019, her original track "Deeper Woods" was picked up by the European legend Sasha. "Krinne Circle" in 2020 received high praise from Mixmag Asia. In 2023, she released "Tribe of the Hidden Cliff" in the compilation album "All Tomorrow's Parties" by Global Ark Recordings, featuring a song by Techno God Ken Ishii. "Tribe Of The Hidden Cliff" depicts a tribe on a distant future earth, establishing a unique style that feels new yet somehow nostalgic. It has been selected for the playlists of overseas tastemakers and played by many artists. In 2024, she was chosen for the Freedom Engine Academy, led by Mathew Jonson, one of the most outstanding musicians and producers in contemporary electronic music, and received a scholarship. She has begun to reach new heights under her new mentor, Mathew.
In 2022, when she performed live on AbemaTV, the show attracted over 30,000 viewers and became a hot topic in Japan's dance music scene. She has provided mixes to numerous domestic and international radio stations and labels. While she continues to energize the dance floors at top clubs and parties in Tokyo, including the iconic WOMB, her cherished party "Deeep!," a safe musical playground for everyone, has become a spiritual home to her friends and families.
Ëmbyrblume is constantly pushing herself. She fuses live percussion and DJ performances in her experimental live show, WEYEKIN, plays for cultural events at an embassy and radio programs, releases collaborative tracks with overseas singers, and exhibits music NFTs in the metaverse. These innovative endeavors keep her fresh and driven. She will continue to positively impact the dance music scene, now under a new artistic identity that more authentically represents her current self.

37歳、何かを始めるのに遅すぎるということは無いと、KATIE SE7ENとして活動を始めてから 12年が経ち、彼女は新しい自分へと生まれ変わった。42歳で音楽教養もなくゼロから始めた楽 曲制作も、8年の試行錯誤の結果、より自由に自分を表現できるようになり、2024年、現在の 自分を反映するËmbyrblumeへ改名。今の自分を表現していくため新たなスタートを切った。
2019年のオリジナル曲、“Deeper Woods” は欧州の大御所、Sashaにピックアップされ、2020 年の”Krinne Circle”は音楽誌Mixmag Asiaにより高評価を得た。2023年にはKen Ishii氏も楽曲を 提供しているGlobal Ark Recordingsのコンピレーションアルバム、”All Tomorrow's Parties"か ら”Tribe of the Hidden Cliff”をリリース。遠い未来の地球の部族を描いた、聞いたことのない、 しかしどこか懐かしさを感じさせるユニークなスタイルを確立したこの楽曲は、海外のテイス トメーカー達のプレイリストにも選出され多くのアーティストがプレイしている。2024年には 現代エレクトロニック・ミュージック界の最も卓越したミュージシャン、プロデューサーであ るMathew Jonsonが主催するFreedom Engine Academyに選抜され、奨学金を獲得。Mathewと いう師の元で更なる高みへと登りはじめた。
2022年、彼女がAbemaTVの生放送でプレイを披露した際には視聴者が3万人以上に登り話題 を呼んだ。IbizaでのDJ経験もあり、国際的なセンスが買われ国内外の多数のラジオ局やレーベ ルにミックスを提供している。日本を代表するクラブ、WOMBをはじめ、都内のトップクラス のクラブやパーティ、野外フェスなどで熱いプレイでフロアを沸かせ続けている傍、主催する パーティ”Deeep!”では、誰にとっても安全な、愛のある時間を仲間たちと過ごすことを大切に し、友人や家族にとっての貴重な集いの場となっている。
彼女は常に自分に挑んでおり、ライブパーカッションとDJプレイの掛け合わせを試みるエクス ペリメンタル・ライブ、”WEYEKIN”、大使館やラジオ番組への出演、海外シンガーとのコラボ 曲のリリース、音楽NFTのメタバース空間での展示など、革新的な取り組みは彼女が常に新鮮 であり続ける原動力となっている。今後もËmbyrblumeの活動はダンスミュージック・シーンに ポジティブな影響を残してゆくことだろう。
